Cool Kid dedicated to saving lives

PASADENA, Calif. "The lady who hit us was a fourth-time offender. Her first conviction was as a teenager," said Jennifer. "Alcohol abuse is a lifelong problem once it starts. And I just want to protect another family from going through what my family went through."

Since Jennifer was a young victim of a /*DUI*/ crash, she makes it a point to speak to a younger audience.

"My favorite part is at the end. People come up to me and say, 'You're so inspiring. I really connect with you because we're the same age.' And they get it," said Jennifer.

Having lived to tell her story, Jennifer wants to make the most of her good fortune.

"I met other families who weren't as fortunate as I. Their family members were killed by drunk drivers," said Jennifer. "So I just want to protect people."

As the youngest member of the Speakers Bureau of /*Mothers Against Drunk Driving*/, Jennifer sees her mission and has a singular goal.

"There's always another person you can reach out to. I won't be able to reach everyone in one presentation, but if I can reach that one kid, then it made a difference," said Jennifer.

Jennifer Robi is a"/*Cool Kid*/" who is dedicated to saving lives.
