2 planes bump tails at LAX; no injuries

LOS ANGELES, Calif. No one aboard either plane was hurt. The /*Federal Aviation Administration*/ is investigating the incident.

An American Eagle Embracer E-135 turboprop plane was pushing back from its gate when it backed into a parked plane of the same make and model. Both planes were damaged.

Flight 30-85 was headed to San Diego, with 43 passengers and crew aboard. The passengers caught another flight. The other plane was empty.

Ian Gregor of the FAA says no air traffic controllers were directing the aircraft at the time of the incident.
