Father and son had a falling out a few months ago, and the younger Schuller left the broadcast in Orange County.
Both Schuller and Wyatt have religious backgrounds, but they said in a statement that AmericanLife TV would not be strictly religious in content. Schuller said they plan to offer an alternative to other stations, which he blames for a decline in family values.
