Exercise may lower breast cancer risk

Exercising for more than an hour a week after the age of 30 may help decrease a woman's chances of developing breast cancer, according to a new study.Researchers at the University of Colorado in Greeley asked nearly 4,300 women to recall their physical activity levels during four key stages in life.

Fewer women who classified themselves as "highly competitive" between 30 and 50 developed breast cancer, compared to women who were less physically active.
