Search for suspects in home invasion

SYLMAR, Calif. Authorities say five armed men wearing dark clothing and masks forced their way inside the home on the 14000 block of Hubbard Street near Glenoaks Boulevard.

Police say the suspects knocked on the door of the house around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. When a male resident opened the door, one of the suspects hit him in the head with a gun.

Once inside the home, the suspects used duct tape to tie up three members of the family. They then ransacked the house, taking an unknown amount of money and other items before fleeing.

The man who was hit suffered minor injuries. No one else was injured in the incident.

Police say they don't know if the victims knew the suspects. No descriptions of the suspects have been released.

If you have any information on the suspects, you're asked to call the /*LAPD Mission station*/ at (818) 838-9800.
