1 dead after truck hits charter bus

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. Police said the bus full of people was headed back home to Los Angeles from San Manuel Casino when a pickup truck hit the bus at about 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Mirada Road.

The driver of the pickup truck was declared dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.

Six of the 28 people aboard the bus were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
