Report: Catalytic converter caused fire

YORBA LINDA, Calif. According to the /*Orange County Register*/, fire officials confirmed Monday that hot debris which shot out of a car on the 91 Freeway sparked the blaze.

Officials said they will probably never know the identity of that vehicle.

The /*Freeway Complex Fire*/ destroyed more than 200 homes in Orange County, including 117 in Yorba Linda.
