3.3-mag quake hits Inland Empire

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. The /*U.S. Geological Survey*/ says the 3.3 magnitude earthquake hit about 7:30 a.m. Sunday in /*San Bernardino*/.

San Bernardino County Sheriffs say there are no reports of damage or injuries.

The /*San Jacinto Fault*/ - an offshoot of the /*San Andreas Fault*/ - runs through the area.

Saturday night, a pair of small earthquakes shook the /*Santa Monica Mountains*/ northwest of /*Malibu*/. They were centered in a rugged and lightly populated section of the coastal mountain range south of /*Thousand Oaks*/.
