BMW smashes into home in Cerritos

CERRITOS, Calif. L.A. County Sheriff's deputies said a BMW driver was speeding just before he lost control of the car in the 12000 block of West 195th Street just before 2 a.m.

The car hit a planter in the front yard, which pushed it up into the air before the crash.

The car flew through the wall of an empty bedroom.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said the driver was initially detained, but no charges were filed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
