Temecula brush fire fully contained

TEMECULA, Calif. The fire started at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday in De Luz and quickly burned about 94 acres into Temecula. The fire was fully contained by 8 a.m. Friday.

About 350 firefighters fought the flames, with help from several air tankers and helicopter crews.

The fire forced some businesses to evacuate, but did not cause any damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
