5 acres burned in Lancaster wildfire

LANCASTER, Calif. Fire crews responded to 22847 W. Ave. D just after 4:30 p.m.

About 95 firefighters were dispatched and knocked down the blaze at 5:19 p.m.

The L.A. County Fire Department said the fire damaged an orchard, but no one was injured, and no buildings were damaged or destroyed.
