LOS ANGELES --A worker was killed Monday after getting stuck in a cardboard recycling shredder at a warehouse in the Lincoln Heights section of Los Angeles.Paramedics responded to a call on the 3900 block of North Mission Road at about 8:15 a.m. When they arrived they found the victim trapped in the machinery. They tried to revive him but were unsuccessful. The man, who was in his mid-60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The LAPD says he was a worker at the warehouse
The cause of the accident is under investigation. The man's name has not been released.
