Water main break hits LAX

LOS ANGELES The break occurred to a pipe that supplies water to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are 4 p.m. The water was turned off and restrooms and concessions had to be shut down. Water to Terminal 4 was affected for some time, but things were back to normal by Thursday night.

The break was located under the south side of Parking Structure 2B. One vehicle was reported as being partially under water, while other vehicles were towed to higher ground. The parking structure is closed until further notice.

Crews were said to be working on restoring water to the affected terminals into the night.
