Teen shot in Norwalk dies

NORWALK, Calif. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says the 17-year-old was shot shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of a Stater Brothers grocery store on Alondra Boulevard.

The victim's name has not been released.

"Detectives have learned that as the victim and his two brothers pulled into the parking lot of the location, they were followed by the suspects' vehicle," Deputy Aura Sierra of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department told City News Service.

Two male suspects then got out of their car and and fired several rounds into the brothers' car.

There is no word on a motive, a description of the suspects or their car.
