Unattended BBQ may be cause of O.C. fire

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. The fire broke out in an apartment at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, killing two men inside.

Bystanders who saw someone yelling from a balcony and yelling from a hallway were trying to help.

The two victims are identified as 25-year-old Travis McCarthy and 29-year-old Matthew Danihels.

Three apartments were damaged by fire, smoke or water.
