Bread in the bank: food donations pour in

LOS ANGELES Interstate Brands, the distributor of Wonder Bread and Hostess Baked Goods, donated 11,000 loaves to help fight hunger.

The food bank says the donation comes at a time when it's needed most. There's been a major increase in the number of people turning to food banks for help.

Currently close to 700,000 people a week are turning to food banks for groceries.
