Man in car shot to death in Mid-City

LOS ANGELES Police said a man was sitting in his car on Longwood Avenue, just north of St. Elmo Drive, when someone came up and shot him at about 1 a.m.

Witnesses said they heard four to six shots fired.

Police said they found the victim slumped in the front seat of his car with the engine still running. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Police are looking for a motive and the suspect.
