Nearly 20 L.A. inmates develop swine flu

LOS ANGELES Authorities say the first confirmed case was reported about two weeks ago at the Men's Central Jail in downtown L.A., but most of the infected inmates are housed at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic.

At Pitchess, 190 inmates will be tested and monitored over a seven-day period.

Two inmates have been taken to outside hospitals for treatment.
