Students use theater to protest cuts

CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. The musical "Dear Mr. Schwarzenegger" expresses their frustration over budget cuts through song and dialogue.

The Citrus Heights theater group, consisting of girls ages 6 to 14, their teacher created the musical about a class that's about to disappear because of /*budget cuts*/.

The story of the made-up musical class sends a clear message with biting humor, and the play doesn't mince words.

Despite the cuts, they say "the show must go on."

The group performs its musical Friday, and the governor is invited.
