Bear gives Monrovia residents a scare

MONROVIA, Calif. An Eyewitness News viewer took pictures of the bear when it was near the foothills of Monrovia, near Norumbega Road, at about 8:30 p.m.

Neighbors say the bear wandered across driveways and into yards, and eventually disappeared into someone's backyard.

Bear sightings in the Monrovia area are not unusual, but still draw plenty of attention.
