August 2, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
A man who pretended to be a UPS driver robbed a 90-year-old woman in her Westchester home, and police are seeking the public's help locating the robber. The woman was robbed around 4 p.m. Monday at her home in the 8000 block of Chase Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The man knocked on the woman's front door and said he was a UPS driver with a delivery, police said. When she let him in, he demanded money.

"During the incident, he kicked and choked the victim before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash," police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man about 23 years old, 6 feet 1 inch and 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a tan shirt, brown pants and brown work boots.

Anyone with information on the suspect was asked to contact LAPD Pacific area detectives at (310) 482-6396 or (877)-LAPD-24-7.
