The boy was not breathing when he was found in the pool around 1:30 p.m. at a home in the 30000 block of Apricot Avenue, and emergency personnel performed CPR on the boy before rushing him to the hospital, Mike said.
The sergeant reminded residents with pools to use water safety precautions. He directed residents to the American Red Cross Web site for safety tips, at www.redcross.org.
