La Habra Council approves $1.5M in cuts

LA HABRA, Calif. The City Council approved more than $1.5 million in budget cuts on Monday night. About half of that money will come from the furloughs.

Affected employees will lose more than 100 hours, the equivalent of a 5 percent pay cut.

La Habra is dealing with a $33 million budget shortfall.
