John Wayne Airport construction starts

SANTA ANA, Calif. Huge concrete piles will be pounded into the ground to brace the foundations of a new terminal wing and parking garage.

Airport officials say travelers and people in hotels and businesses along /*Macarthur Boulevard*/ will probably hear some construction noise.

The parking garage is scheduled to be finished by late 2010. The terminal will be ready between late 2011 and early 2012.
