L.A. cops hurt after SUV hits patrol car

LOS ANGELES Police said the driver of the SUV suffered a diabetic seizure, causing him to smash into the patrol car on Tuesday night.

Firefighters had to help the officers get out of their vehicle. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but his condition has since improved.
