The death comes a year after /*Goldstein*/ and former Blink-182 drummer /*Travis Barker*/ survived a plane crash in Columbia, South Carolina. The crash killed both crew members and two other passenger. Goldstein and Barker were critically injured.
The celebrity DJ for hire performed at some of Hollywood's most exclusive parties. He made a number of television appearances on reality shows, including Punk'd, where his former fiancé, /*Nicole Richie*/, was the subject of a practical joke.
/*DJ AM*/ also dated actress /*Mandy Moore*/ for a short time in 2007.
