Lisker back in court after being freed

LOS ANGELES Lisker, 44, was convicted of first-degree murder in the beating and stabbing death of his 66-year-old mother in 1983.

He was released earlier this month after a judge ruled that the prosecution presented false evidence during the trial.

The D.A.'s Office wants to retry the case. Court papers indicate that retrial could take place within 60 days.
