Search for man in attempted kidnapping

LOS ANGELES The 18-year-old victim was walking home at about midnight when she was stopped by a car near a convenience store at Anaheim and Figueroa.

She was able to fight off the attacker and managed to get away safely.

Police said the suspect was driving an older model gray van.
