Board: 'Not so fast' to new NFL stadium

INGLEWOOD, Calif. Inglewood Democrat Curren Price had been lobbying the State Legislature to bypass environmental studies to put the stadium on the fast track and generate jobs. However, the board on Tuesday approved a motion demanding that environmental review as part of any approval process.

The 75,000 seat stadium would be built on 600 acres near the 57 and 60 freeways.

No pro football team has been announced for the stadium.
