Call for arsonist tracking after fire

SACRAMENTO, Calif. Two California Congressional representatives are urging the passage of a bill that would require convicted arsonists to tell authorities where they live, work and go to school.

The arsonists would be required to register for five years for one offense, 10 years for two, and for life if they have three or more convictions.

The measure has passed in the House and is waiting for a Senate vote.
