High Court will not review market crash

LOS ANGELES The justices revealed their decision Thursday.

Ten people were killed in the July 2003 accident, and another 68 people were injured.

The driver, /*George Russell Weller*/, was convicted of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. He was sentenced to five years probation.

Weller was 86 years old at the time of the crash.

In June, a three-judge appeals court panel rejected a claim by the defense that the original trial court should not have allowed certain crime scene and autopsy photographs of the victims to be admitted.
