Exercise can reduce breast cancer risk

Aerobically fit women are three times less likely to die of breast cancer than those who seldom exercise according to researchers.

And for those who do get breast cancer and beat it, exercise lowers the chance of remission.

According to the magazine, studies show you need about five hours a week of moderately intense activity.

Women who got that much exercise, or about 40 minutes a day did better than women who exercised an hour and a half a week.

The activity can include walking, but it should be moderately intense, about 100 beats a minute.
