LOS ANGELES --
On these hot days, air conditioning can certainly keep us cool, but is it healthy?A new study shows people in homes with air conditioning are less likely to suffer ill effects of air pollution.
However, researchers say since air conditioning can also contribute to pollution by using energy, it's not clear if it provides any health benefits.
They say those who use air conditioning instead of keeping their windows open, may be breathing in fewer pollutants in the air.
