LONG BEACH, Calif. --Water gushed onto Long Beach streets after a water main broke Wednesday.The water main broke at about 3:45 a.m. at Stevely Avenue and East Espanita Street, and water poured onto streets at more than 100 gallons a minute, according to a firefighter on the scene.

At least 100 customers could be without service for most of the day.
There was no estimate of how long it will take to repair the main and fix the road.
