Grammer, Heaton return to sitcom life

LOS ANGELES /*Kelsey Grammer's*/ "Hank" shows us a Wall Street big wig who's been forced out of his job and has to downsize his life, and family, and return to their small hometown.

The show brings Grammer back to a genre that's served him well for 25 years.

Grammer says that he gets a lot of satisfaction from making people laugh.

"It makes me feel useful. I feel like I make a difference. It is pretty simple, it is something that I am good at," said Grammer.

"You are connected. Something that you interpreted with the other actors is enough to make people sing," said actress /*Patricia Heaton*/.

"The audience teaches you what is funny," adds Grammer. "And if you have the skill and the good fortune to have good material and talented actors it is an extraordinary moment."

Patricia Heaton has had many extraordinary moments herself and the two-time Emmy winner is also returning to sitcom life in "The Middle."

Heaton plays a devoted mom, struggling to maintain her middle class life in middle America.

"We're devoted actors on the set. We hope this goes on for a long time," said Heaton.
