Hiker rescued after falling down cliff

FONTANA, Calif. The 20-year-old man was hiking in the /*Jurupa Hills*/ at around 8 p.m. when he slipped and fell 30 feet down an embankment.

He landed between two rocks, where he was able to brace himself.

Someone heard him yell for help and called 911.

Two sheriff's helicopters from the /*San Bernardino County Fire Department*/ were called to the rescue. They airlifted firefighters to an area right above the hiker.

Using special equipment, the firefighters were able to pull him to safety.

The man was then flown to nearby /*Southridge Park*/ for medical treatment.

Fortunately, he only had minor cuts and bruises.
