L.A. ranks 58th for worst fall allergies

LOS ANGELES The rankings are based on seasonal pollen, allergy medicine use per patient, and the number of board-certified allergists per patient.

Topping the list is McAllen, Texas.

Wichita, Kansas is second and Louisville, Kentucky is third.

Locally, Bakersfield is 36th and Riverside is 47th. Los Angeles ranks 58th, and Oxnard comes in 63rd.

The list was compiled by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
