Woman triggers O.C. chain-reaction crash

TUSTIN, Calif. Authorities said the woman's car stalled just north of 17th Street on the 55 Freeway in Tustin at 9:26 a.m., and she tried to walk across the freeway.

Oncoming cars tried to avoid her, but one hit and seriously injured her.

Another vehicle then crashed into the woman's stalled car, which burst into flames.

The woman and two others were rushed to a local hospital in unknown condition.
