Champion brought 'Snow White' to life

LOS ANGELES "Snow White" is now 72 years old. And /*Marge Champion*/, the cartoonists' model for her movements, is now 90.

"I'm not even afraid of the word 'old.' That was always a very honored word. And antique was an even more honored word," said Marge. "So I don't know where all this young, young, young thing really started because until you're about 30 years old you haven't even grown up."

Marge's long ago participation in "Snow White" is now included as an extra in a newly released Diamond Edition Blu-ray version of the film. She was not the voice of the character but she did embody her with her movements.

Marge also modeled for the Blue Fairy in "Pinocchio." And for Hyacinth Hippo in "Fantasia."

These days Marge continues to practice the craft she's known for almost her entire life, dance.

"It's in my blood. It's the life I know," said Marge.

"It's in the last 20 years that I've realized that I had enough training, and I had enough editorial training to be able to go and influence young people and explain why they needed to be disciplined," said Marge.

Marge remains disciplined. And while she can't do everything she once could she sure surprised me.

"I can still do a pretty good fan kick," said Marge.

Marge Champion is still a "kick" at 90!

She dances with a partner twice a week at home in New York. On the other days, she goes to the gym.
