Accident kills woman in Rancho Dominguez

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif. It's unclear why, but a vehicle carrying five young people crashed into a parked big rig shortly before 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Gladwick Street and Rancho Way.

The woman riding in the front passenger seat died, and two people were critically injured while the other two suffered minor injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
