Partner abuse takes many different tolls

LOS ANGELES A new study looks at the health issues and the toll taken by those victims of abuse.

Partner abuse affects as many as 44 percent of women during their lifetime.

Researchers found those who've suffered abuse are more likely to be diagnosed with back pain, headaches, acid reflux and depression.

Abused women are also six times more likely to be diagnosed with substance abuse.
