18-year-old shot, killed in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. The shooting was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in the 1800 block of Henderson Avenue. When police arrived they found a man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police haven't released any information about the suspect or a possible motive.

The victim was an 18-year-old Long Beach resident. His name has not been released.

Police say it is unclear if the shooting is gang related.
