No charges will be filed against two Pasadena police officers who shot and killed a parolee in February, Eyewitness News confirmed Thursday. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office concluded the officers acted in self-defense. The officers shot 38-year-old Pasadena resident Leroy Barnes during a routine traffic stop.

Police initially said Barnes got out of the car and fired at them first. But they later changed their account, saying Barnes did not get out of the car and only threatened the officers with his gun.
