Time is running out to get your Halloween costume in order. If you haven't decided, or you feel uninspired, here's a look at the most popular costumes. The Halloween Club in Santa Fe Springs is stocked from floor to ceiling. It features life-size monsters, scary props, party decorations, accessories and makeup galore.

According to manager Kathy Crawford, Michael Jackson and the Super Mario Brothers are the season's hottest selling costume.

"It's like amazing, could you believe that you have the King of Pop and you have a video game?" she said.

Adults and children alike will be wearing Michael Jackson-inspired jackets, fedoras and sequined gloves, and the same goes for the colorful overalls and thick mustaches made famous by gaming superstars Luigi and Mario.

Crawford said women are typically looking for sexy costumes.

For trick-or-treaters who want a one-of-a-kind costume, get over to The Costume Shop in Glendale. Affiliated with the Glendale Centre Theatre, every costume for rent is unique.

"They're costumes that we use on stage in theater, so they're all original and they're really good quality," said costumer Angela Wood.

Customers can spend hours trying on hundreds of stage costumes and props.

Wood said the most requested costumes include vampires, pirates, Marie Antoinette, flappers and gangsters.

If you're still unsure of what to be for Halloween, both The Halloween Club and The Costume Shop are open late on Halloween.

"If you come in and you have not a clue, believe me, when you leave, you'll know what you're gonna be for Halloween," Crawford said.
