Suspect slams car into man after fight

DOWNEY, Calif. Police said the victim, A 35-year-old Buena Park man, and another person got into an argument in a parking lot outside the Shuttle Inn Bar at Rose Avenue and Imperial Highway just after midnight.

The other person got into a car and slammed into the victim, dragging him several blocks to Lakewood Boulevard.

The victim was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The suspect fled the scene. Police said no suspect or vehicle information is available.
