The 911 call came in reporting the gun shots, and Yucaipa Police responded to make a horrible discovery.
Deputies found a dead 60-year-old woman in one of the cottages.
The investigation led to a suspect, 30-year-old Leith Hamilton of Angelus Oaks. He was arrested without incident, but authorities still are not saying much about Hamilton's relationship with victim.
"It is my understanding that this is a Seventh-Day Adventist resident camp, and it appears that they have conferences and so forth at this particular camp," said Frank Montanez of San Bernardino County Police.
So even though the suspect is in custody, Camp Cedar Falls is closed, sealed off as a crime scene.
