Boston man killed in Murrieta skydive

MURRIETA, Calif. Stephen Harrington, 40, landed in a Murrieta driveway late Wednesday afternoon. Investigators say he may have hit the tail of the plane he jumped from. It's still unclear if his parachute deployed.

Harrington was pronounced dead at the scene.

Earlier in the day, Harrington was among 68 people who jumped in formation from Lake Elsinore for a $5,000 fundraising event. The group was trying to set a U.S. record for jumps using wingsuits, which are suits with wing-like fabric panels.
