Investigators say the two victims were shot on Lee Avenue, west of New Hampshire.
A resident reported hearing two loud gunshots and a car speeding away from the area around the time of the shooting. After the shooting, the couple was driven by an unidentified person to the police headquarters in Davis's maroon, four-door Chrysler sedan.
