Upcoming storm to bring powder to Mt. High

WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. Snow-sport enthusiasts at the Mountain High Ski Resort say they can really feel that a storm is starting to move in. They hope that mother nature will bring in some fresh powder.

Mountain High has been making snow since October, but many say they prefer the real thing. They should be getting a pretty good snow fall with the storm all set to move in the next few days.

Mountain High officials say they're hoping to get as much as two feet of fresh powder, but for now, it's just cold and windy on the slopes.

Skiers and snowboarders say they'll take what they can get.

"It's really windy and it's really cloudy up there with a bunch of snow. It looks like a storm is coming in the next couple of days. I say it's pretty freezing. Without face-covering stuff, it really stings and it's bad," said Raz Luke, a snowboarder.

"It's about 28 degrees right now I think, and I'm thinking it's going to get into the teens, but I came prepared," said another snowboarder Chris VanAllen.
