Author JoAnn Cianciulli wrote the cookbook honoring the 75th anniversary of LA's original Farmers Market. Leslie Sykes went on an international eating tour of the 48 stalls that serve cuisine from around the world, including "Little Johns Candies," "Singapore Banana Leaf," "Patsy's Pizza," "Magee's," "Dupars," "Loteria," and "Pampa's Grill." PHI'LA -- The Musical
After losing students to gang violence, Dorsey High School Drama Instructor Jamal Speakes decided to engage his students in a unique form of "Edu-tainment." Speakes wrote and developed "PHI'LA The Musical," a profound new take on the classics "Romeo and Juliet" and "Westside Story," set in inner-city Los Angeles. The musical addresses racial tensions and violence between Black and Latino communities. Eye on L.A. followed the cast from rehearsals at Dorsey High to a special performance at L.A. Live's "Club Nokia."

Julius Shulman
Legendary photographer Julius Shulman championed modern architects from Richard Neutra to Frank Gehry. Shulman recently died at age 98, leaving behind a legacy of iconic pictures. ABC7 Eyewitness News' Adrienne Alpert interviewed the photographer not long before his passing.
